50 points) Air containing 5% Acetone is fed to an absorption column at a rate of 1000 kg/h. Pure water is used as absorbent to remove acetone from air. The air leaving the absorber is free of acetone (assume) and is found to contain 0.5% water. The bottom of the absorber has 81% water and remaining is acetone. This is sent to a distillation column. The distillate has 99% acetone and the remaining is water while the bottoms has 4% acetone and remaining is water. Perform DOF analysis as appropriate and calculate the flow rates of all unknown streams. You may ignore the unlabelled streams, i.e., those entering and leaving the reflux or reboiler. (Given compositions are the weight percentages).
