The frozen sugar water is in a small test tube like in experiment #3 of lab 7. The melting/freezing point of this sugar water is -5C. A second temperature probe is placed in a Styrofoam cup containing water at 20C. After the temperature of each substance has been recorded for 1 minute, the test tube of frozen sugar water is placed into the cup of water such that none of the liquid water enters the test tube. The graph for the temperature of the (initially) frozen sugar water is shown below. A B C D E 1.
