A 3-phase, 8-pole, induction motor connected to 60HZ line, has a synchronous speed of 900 r/min. The motor absorbs 40 KW, and the copper and iron losses in the stator amount to 5 KW and 1 KW respectively. Calculate torque developed by motor. A 3-phase induction motor has a nominal rating of 100 hp and synchronous speed of 1800 r/min us connected to a 600 V source. Total power consumption of motor is 70 KW and line current is 78A. Speed of motor is 1763 r/min. Also, we know: Stator iron losses 2KW Windage and friction losses = 1.2 KW Resistance between stator terminals = 0.34 ohms Calculate: Power supplied to rotor Rotor copper losses Mechanical power supplied to load Efficiency Torque developed at 1763 r/min
