Compressed air fed through the rod is ejected from a nozzle on the back of the block, exerting a thrust force of 3.5 N . The nozzle is 70? from the radial line, as shown in (Figure 1). Figure1 of 1 A 2.0 meter long straight rod is pivoted at its end. A block is attached to another end of the rod. The rod and block rotate counterclockwise about the pivoted end. The block has a nozzle on its back side, the air is ejected from this nozzle. The block is tilted so that the air flows at an angle of 70 degrees with the extension of the rod.
