System pressure loss of each chiller circuit in Production Loop at full load is 35kPa at a flow rate of 13L/s. Determine: (i) the operation conditions (i.e. flow rates and working pressures) in both production and distribution loops at full design load. (4 Marks) (c) District Cooling System (DCS) at Kai Tak has been a successful case in the application of this kind of system in Hong Kong. Give a brief analysis on the feasibility of implementing the DCS in Sheung Wan business district area for centralised air-conditioning so that it can have a large saving in electricity consumption and a great reduction in carbon dioxide emission.
