a. A three phase generator can be wye or delta connected. Draw the circuit diagram for each type of connection. Label the terminals on the wye connected machine as A, B & C and label the terminals on the delta connected machine as a, b, & c. 

b. Draw a phasor diagram for the wye connected machine. Show the line/phase voltage phasors and the current phasors. Make the VA the reference phasor. 

c. Draw a phasor diagram for the delta connected machine. Show the voltage phasors and the line/phase current phasors. Make the Vac the reference phasor. 

d. Write out the mathematical representation of the phasors drawn in the phasor diagrams in terms of general magnitudes of V, Vph, I. & Iph
