A charge with the EEOC read: "I am an accountant working for Respondent Bank. When driving to work one day, I reported that bank officials were following me and were stalking me repeatedly. After an investigation, the HR Director asked that I see a psychiatrist, who performed a series of tests and prescribed some medication and repeated visits for consultation. After a couple of weeks off, I was given a letter to return to work under the care, observation and medication of the doctor. When I complained that the people were still watching me, I could not do my work, and I feared I might kill someone - the Respondent then declared that I was declared unfit for duty. I feel I have been discriminated against because of my disability?"
