3. explain specifically what each type of IP protects on the product/service, and
4. provide one example of infringement of each protection.

For example, if the product were an iPhone, one of the protections would be a utility patent to protect the function of the phone, and infringement would occur if a company created the uPhone that looked and worked just like the iPhone.

b) Find a contract that you have agreed to; that someone you know has agreed to; or, that you find online. Analyze the contract by answering the following (no citations are required):

1. Summarize the subject matter of the contract (what is the contract for?).
2. Does Statute of Frauds apply? Explain why and how this impacts the contract.
3. Does common law or UCC apply? Explain.
4. Explain offer, acceptance, and consideration for this contract.
5. How are the parties discharged from this contract?
