A circuit with IN and RESET inputs and a Z output will be designed. When RESET input is Logic-0, after Logic-1 comes from IN input 2 times consecutively, Z output will be logic 1 as long as IN input is Logic-1. When IN input becomes Logic-0, output Z becomes zero and counts again from the beginning. If RESET input is Logic-1, output Z will immediately be Logic-0 independent of IN input. When RESET input passes Logic-0 through Logic-1, sequential ones from IN input are counted from the beginning.
