A city has recently seen a rapid rise in population due to growth in the tech industry in that area. Since this growth helps to create many skilled positions, this urban area is seeing an influx of high-income taxpayers among those relocating there. As the area becomes more desirable, many of the lower- to mid-income taxpayers in the area can no longer afford to live there due to increases in rents and home prices. A possible solution to this problem would be promoting local food movements, inclusionary zoning, or creation of squatter settlements
