A client asks you to develop a model that will help their management team to understand what factors have the biggest influence on their customers Credit Scores. See the accompanying Excel worksheet for the sample data (see Tab titled, Data Case #3).
- Run a complete correlation analysis and discuss your findings about possible relationships between the variables (especially the IVs with the DV). What did you learn?
- Run the appropriate regression analyses. Run as many repetitions of regression analysis as necessary until you find the regression model that you believe is the best for your client. Finally, provide conclusions and present your recommendations to your client.
Note: If you wish to "exclude" the data for 1 or more variables in your regression analysis, you will need to copy the data in a new worksheet and delete the columns containing the variables you do not want to include in your regression model. Be sure to position the Dependent Variable as the last variable (column) in the worksheet.
