in the pipe, to help with mixing. Currently you are using it to run the elementary reaction
2AB+C. Unfortunately, there is a small flaw in the design, and we see a small, pin-point
crack form beyond the diameter decrease, where contents are leaking at a rate 5% of the inlet
flow. Is it possible to have only a 10% decrease in conversion at the outlet of the reactor
(depending on the location of the tear)? Mathematically show why/why not. Assume temperature
and pressure change is negligible, and PFR assumptions hold throughout.
