A computer repair center receives 1,000 units a week.  After spending a week waiting at receiving, they are either classified as suffering from a hardware or software issue and are sent to the appropriate repair line.  On average, 25 percent are diagnosed with a hardware issue while 70 percent are diagnosed with a software issue.  5 percent are classified as not actually defective and therefore need no repair.  10 percent of computers diagnosed with software issues are found to actually have hardware issues.

On average, 700 units wait at receiving, 1,200 units await hardware repair and 800 units await software repair.  On average, hardware repairs require 1 week while software repairs require half a week.
