Confidence level is the probability that the confidence interval actual contains the correct true parameter. You have a jar that contains quarters. Instead of making one guess, you allow a few people to make a few guesses and come up with a range, between 60 and 80 quarters. This range of 60 to 80 quarters would be the confidence interval. A confidence level would come from performing this experiment many times and would suggest how often you want to be correct in your interval. If you say you have a 95% confidence level, it will mean that you would expect your range to include the actual number of quarters in the jar 95 times out of 100
