A critical step in enhancing patient care is the staff education component of the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) discharge enhancement program. Nonetheless, several obstacles have been noted that may make it more difficult for this program to run well. Staff resistance is one major obstacle. Certain employees may be reluctant to participate in further training. Organizing awareness campaigns is one tactical way to combat this. During these meetings, staff members will actively participate in decision-making processes as the program's benefits are highlighted.
