A filtration process is carried out at a constant flow rate. Then it continues under the conditions of constant pressure difference of 500 N/m2. It is known that 1.6 m3 of filtrate is obtained in 300 seconds at a constant flow rate. Determine the voidage of the bed (\epsi ) if the obtained final filtrate volume is 6 m3 after 1200 seconds of total time for the whole process. Assume that the solid particles filtered in the filter cake
consist of homogeneous spheres and their radii is 2 cm.
Additional Info:
A=1.2 m2
l=18 cm
=1 g/cm.s=0.1 Pa.s please use filtration equations
