Question 1.-

A research study was conducted to examine the impact of two radiation treatments: high radiation dose with one fraction and low radiation dose with five fractions on leukemia. Half of the individuals received a high dose and half were given a low dose. Patients were two groups: patients without prior chemotherapy and patients received prior chemotherapy. Both groups were given a blood test for hemoglobin value for evaluate response. Totally 40 patients were selected to participate in the study.

Researchers have sought to examine the effect of various types of stimulus on object recognition levels in patients who are in the early stage (stage I/II) and late stage (stage III/IV) of brain cancer patients. Totally 30 patients were selected to participate in the study based on their stage of brain cancer. Each stage has equal number of patients. Three forms of stimulus were tested: type A, type B, and type C. These three types of stimulus were selected from various established stimulus in this patient population. Object recognition levels were recorded for the patients with a high score indicating a higher level of object recognition.

Researchers have sought to examine differences in life satisfaction between young adult, middle adult, and older adult men and women was conducted. Each individual who participated in the study completed a life satisfaction questionnaire. A high score on the test indicates a higher level of life satisfaction. Totally 60 patients were accrued to participate in the study. Each age group has equal number of patients.
