A group of four young adults have been traveling from town to down committing various acts while they are together. They are good at what they do and have not been caught yet. Their luck is about to run out. They come upon a small town with a group of stores together. The four go to the back of the buildings as they have in the past been successful in finding opened doors and taking items from locations. When they get to the back of a building they see several boxes of MacBooks waiting to get loaded onto a shipping truck. They walk over to the MacBooks and take the 50 computers, each valued at $1000. While they were near the truck, Randy sees that on the front seat of the truck is a wallet with a large stack of bills sticking out the side. Randy is skilled at picking locks. He uses a wire and is able to pop the lock to the cab of the truck. He takes the wallet that has about $2000 in it. As the group is leaving the back area, a the truck owner, John, sees them and begins to yell at them. The four of them run. John gives chase. John is able to catch Vinny, the slowest of the group. John grabs Vinny and throws him to the ground. Vinny tries to break free from John. He kicks him and John falls backward. Vinny gets up and runs away. John is not as lucky, he had hit his head and was in real bad shape. John dies as a result of his head injuries two weeks later. The police begin a massive manhunt for the group. Larry and Harvey both want to turn themselves in. Randy and Vinny won't let them. Larry demands that he be allowed to go to the police. Randy grabs him and begins to punch him in the face. Larry takes out his box cutter and slashes at Randy. Randy is struck in the neck and his carotid artery is severed. He bleeds to death in minutes. As this was occurring, a patrol officer comes upon them and places Vinny, Harvey, and Larry under arrest.
