1. a) In order for the public sector to achieve the goals entrusted and to show accountability, there are two concepts that must be complied, namely custodian and stewardship. Stewardship is concerned with caring for something for another, in the most productive and equitable manner. (Zauwiyah Ahmad,2009)

   Based on the above statements, the government as a steward of public resources must then derive satisfaction from the success of the nation rather than personal goal. Explain FOUR (4) stewardship areas that are applicable to the public sector.

   b) Explain in detail accounting practices in Malaysian government.

c) Explain any FOUR (4) reasons why public sector accounting need to be regulated.
