A Kuwaiti Rental and Leasing Company rents cars on daily, weekly, monthly,and yearly bases. The company has different types of cars (Sedan, Van, SUV, and Trucks). The company has many branches in Kuwait and each branchhas its own cars to rent. Customers come to a branch to rent or lease cars from the company with necessary documents (such as a valid driving license and a valid civil id). The employee at the front desk fills the rental contract containing the customer's data such as (his/her name, driving license no, civil id), type of transaction (daily, weekly, etc.), duration, type of car, car id, starting date, returning date, starting mileage and ending mileage,rental or leasing rate and total cost. Customers return the rental cars on the return date (the date and time that the customer is supposed to return the car) otherwise he or she is charged with a late fee. When cars are rented or leased, the customer is allowed to cover certain mileage per day, week, month or year. Charges for the EXTRA mileages is calculated based on a certain rate (KDs per Mile) specific to the type of car rented. Upon returning the car an invoice is generated containing several information suchas invoice number, date, amount, document id, extra mileage charges. Carsare parked in designated parking lot numbers.
