From past experience, the supermarket knows that it needs the following number of cashiers: 9 - 10a = 1, 10 - 11a = 2, 11a - 12p = 3, 12 - 1p = 4, 1 - 2p = 5, 2 -3p= 6, 3-4p = 7, 4-5p = 8, 5-6p = 9, 6-7pm = 10. The Supermarket hires two types of cashiers. Full time cashiers work 8 hour shift which includes 1 hour off for lunch which must be taken immediately after 3 hours of work. Full time cashiers are paid $8/hr (this includes payment for lunch hour). Part time cashiers can work either 3 or 4 hour shift between 11a - 4pm and is paid $5/hr. Formulate an LP to meet the cashier requirements at minimum cost. (10 marks).
