A lawyer agrees to represent a client accused of rape. The client tells the lawyer that just like every criminal case, there are two sides to his story. He adds that, when he is on the stand, he will obviously tell the story from his own perspective, in the light most favorable to himself. However, the lawyer suspects that the client actually intends not simply to present the facts in the most favorable light, but to lie on the stand. The lawyer tells the client, "Perjury is a felony.
