A light$-$skinned African American employee sued her employer alleging discrimination by her supervisor based on color. The employee alleged that the supervisor, a darker skinned African American, said derogatory, threatening and intimidating things to her because the supervisor resented the employee's lighter skin color, which adversely affected the conditions of her employment.
