A machining process requires that a clamp cylinder be used to hold a part in place while a second cylinder lowers a drill to drill a hole through the part. The operator uses a four-way, two-position,' lever-operated, springreturned directional control valve to control the process. When the operation starts, the clamp cylinder extends. When the part is locked in place, the drill cylinder extends automatically. When the drilling is completed, the operator shifts the directional valve to retract the cylinders. The drill cylinder retracts first, then the clamp cylinder retracts automatically. The pressure on the clamp cylinder must be less than system pressure to prevent damage to the part. The lowering speed of the drill cylinder must be controlled to prevent damage to the drill. Using standard ISO symbols, draw the complete hydraulic circuit diagram for the machine.
