John received the letter April 5 and sent a letter the same day stating that he is interested but could only pay $3.5m. Mark did not respond. Mark then sold the car to Stephen. Alan, their mutual friend, saw John the next day and told him that Mark had sold the car to Stephen, at which time John called Mark offering to pay the full amount. Mark told him he sold the car. John believes that Mark has breached the contract between them. Advise John of his legal position. 15 marks B. Monique is a seventeen-year-old millionaire singing star. She accompanies her adult friend, Tommy to a basketball match. On her arrival at the match she realizes that she has left her wallet at home. She borrows $15000.00 from Tommy and promises to pay him when she gets home. They later get an argument and Monique refuses to pay Tommy.
