One group she presented the words and then tested recall (Control). In another group she told the subjects to associate the words with a particular location in their house (Loci). Another group she told the subjects to imagine think of an image of each word. Lastly a final group was instructed to think of a word that rhymes with each word (Rhyme). The number of words recalled by each subject is listed below.
