GYM DATABASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

In this project, you are asked to build a database for Gym Management System, that is used to keep track of customer registration and class booking services.

Gym is one of the leading chains of boutique fitness centers for women in Saudi Arabia. They bring you certified trainers, world-class equipment, full-service facilities, innovative classes and beautiful studios to inspire you on your personalized path towards health and fitness. It offers up to 60 group exercise classes per week included in the standard membership, smaller specialty classes for a fee, and one on one personal training sessions so you can mix and match in accordance with your health and fitness goals. The Gym also has a system which contains detailed records of members and their memberships information with providing booking classes services.

A customer can access any branch by visiting the branch and asking receptionist to join a membership by providing his/her information. The gym offers a variety types of membership (Standard, Gold, Student and Corporate) that member can choose one of them for specific period (1month, 3monthes, 6monthes, 12 months or 18 months).

After registration, trainee with Gold membership can access any branch but members with other types can only access the branch they registered with. There are many branches in different cities, with different locations and working day. Each branch offers many facilities to customers (swimming pool, spa pool, shower rooms , sauna, steam rooms etc..) each with specific quantities. Additionally, each branch offers several special equipment (elliptical, exercise balls, Stationary Bicycle, Treadmills, etc..)

Trainee can ask the receptionist to book up to four different classes a day. If the desired class is available, the receptionist will book it. Each class is held in a specific studio (Studio 1, Studio 2, Spinning Studio), and it is given by a certain trainer.

The Gym keeps information about members, membership, classes, trainers,

studios, equipment, facilities...etc.
