A new law is enacted requiring exotic pet owners to obtain a licence to keep exotic pets. Failing to do so is a crime, punishable by fine and/or imprisonment. An agency is established to provide venues where exotic pet owners can go to obtain a licence.  When Eddie Slithers' pet boa constrictor escaped from his apartment and terrorized his neighbours, Eddie was charged with owning an exotic pet  without a licence.  His court date is next week.
