A new rapid diagnostic test was evaluated for its ability to detect Zika, providing a result in 20 minutes. A study aims to determine whether the rapid test is an effective tool in detecting the Zika virus compared to the gold standard method (the plaque reduction neutralization test, PRNT for short) for the confirmation of the presence of anti-Zika antibodies.
