A North-East University has committed to invest in building two building complexes, one an innovation and educational facility, and the second a residential mid-rise mixed mode building complex at a suitable location in Middlesbrough (see locations on page 5 and 6). The client has considered different uses for these buildings for student accommodation, research, and educational purpose. You will base on the given concept designs by architectural firms (found in the links of the assessment descriptor folder and this document on pages 5 and 6), amend and propose modifications, and assume missing information, and develop your proposal to reduce the carbon footprint of the building (embodied and operational).
