She states, "Stephen, I have worked as a senior nurse on this unit for over ten years. Even after receiving training, we all need refreshers to help one another maintain our competency and ensure our patients are safe. I was asked to present that information by our nurse manager. I hope you will respect my authority in the future."

Stephen quickly apologizes to Tanya and acknowledges he was not aware of the current issues. He additionally informs his nurse manager of his actions and offers to help on the next presentation
