A. One-Way ANOVA was conducted to determine if there was a

difference between gender and relationship comfort. An analysis of variance

showed that the effect of gender on relationship comfort was not significant,

F(1,25) = .000

, p= .983. Post hoc tests were not performed due to none of our

participants being non binary, thus leaving only two groups, where 1=Male and

2=Female. Taken together, these results suggest that there is no significant

difference between gender and relationship comfort. Specifically, our results

suggest that whether an individual is male or female, does not play a role in

relationship comfort.

B. A chi square test was used for the hypothesis that females are more

likely than other genders to indicate that emotional infidelity is more upsetting than

sexual infidelity. This hypothesis was tested using Pearsons correlation. The value

of the test was -.028 and the corresponding p value 0.885. Since the p value is

greater than the chosen significance level (a=.05), we do not reject the null

hypothesis. No association was found between gender and which type of infidelity

is more upsetting (2(2)> = -.028, p =.885).
