A randomized trial is conducted to compare four treatment regimens for HIV. Each regimen is based on a combination of medications. Atotal of 19 patients are involved in the investigation and are randomly assigned to one of four treatments (with approximately 5 patients per group). An overall symptom score, ranging from 0 to 20, is computed for each individual by aggregating their reports of the frequency and severity of an array of symptoms. Higher symptom scores indicated more frequent and/or severe symptoms. The summary statistics are shown in the table below for each of the 4 treatments (labelled A-D): Treatment Re 1 imen Symptom Score The F-statistic for the global test based on this data was computed to be 4.2. Select the appropriate conclusion from the choices below using a signicance level of 0.05 O Reject H0, the mean symptom scores are different across all groups 0 Reject H), the mean symptom scores are different between groups C and D O Reject Ho, the mean symptom scores are different between group C and groups B and D.
