C (a) The first op-amp stage is a non-inverting Schmitt Trigger. Explain the operation of this circuit, sketch the relationship between the input and output voltages, v and voi respectively. Vo2 R Show that the upper and lower threshold voltages are given by +Vrail where Vrail is the DC power supply to the op-amp. (b) The second op-stage is an integrator. Show that -RC S V01 (t) dt R 4R R3C where vo1 (t) and v02 (t) are the input and output voltages of the integrator as a function of time. (c) Show that the frequency of the generated square and triangular waveforms is given by f (d) Given Vrail = 12 V, calculate suitable components R, R2, R3 and C to generate a triangular waveform of 1 kHz and peak-to-peak voltage of 16 V.
