A researcher is interested in the effects of parenting styles (authoritarian, permissive, authoritative) on children's aggressive behavior.
For each child for which the parent(s) has (have) consented (and the child has assented) the researcher has the child's teacher fill out a Teacher Assessment of Child's Aggression questionnaire, with scores shown below as the data that range from 1-100.
The researcher then has each of the mothers fill out a Parenting Style questionnaire which allows the researcher to identify each mother's parenting style as either authoritarian, permissive, or authoritative (yes, authoritarian and authoritative are different). The researcher is aware that parenting style may be related to socioeconomic status and age of parents so he collects information on those variables in order to have blocks of mothers that are similar.
Please show a full statistical analysis to determine which different parenting styles are associated with different levels of children's aggression.
