A.Write the null hypothesis for this correlation (the research hypothesis is stated in the paragraph above)

B.Calculate Pearson's r from the above sample BY HAND.Show your work.

D. Using a .05 critical value for rejection, what is the correlation coefficient that is needed to reject the null hypothesis? [that is the CRITICAL VALUE] (See Table B.4 in your textbook) Make sure you use the appropriate designation (i.e. one- or two-tailed test).
