In order to test this a random sample of participants is taken and first all are given a test of reading speed . The reading speed measure is basically a test of comprehension of material from a book chapter, with the value indicating how much of the material was read and comprehended-potential values ranged from 0 to 10. Following the initial test, a random half of the participants received the speed reading program and the remaining random half received no treatment program. Finally all participants were again given the test of reading speed. The data are shown below.
Doa full analysis to determine if there has been a larger change in average speed reading resulting from the programme, show all calculations and note the type of research design.
