A sanitiser manufacturer used ethyl alcohol (C2H5OH) as the main ingredient and produced the ethyl alcohol in-house by hydration process of ethylene (C2H4). The feed to the reactor contains C2H4, steam (H2O) and nitrogen (N2). However, the process also produced diethyl ether [(C2H5)2O] in the side reactions. The unbalanced reactions are as follow: C2H4+H2OC2H5OHC2H5OH(C2H5)2O+H2O During sampling and verification of products, the analysis revealed the sample was composed of 35 mole %C2H4,12mole2C2H5OH,33mole%H2O and 9.3 mole\% N2. Determine: (a) the molar fraction of all the components in the reactor feed (b) the percentage yield of ethyl alcohol (c) the selectivity of ethyl alcohol production relative to diethyl ether production
