A strategy that my company recently implemented was to transition from a fast follower organization to a more innovative one. We had a change in executive leadership and the this resulted in a different outlook of what success looked like within our market. There was research done and a labyrinth of procedures put into place. I believe many of our resources were estimated adequately, except the resource of time. There has not been sufficient time given to train everyone and make sure there is understanding within departments and cross functionally. We could have prioritized personalized training for each department and perhaps taken it as far as customizing it to certain roles if needed. What was executed was one training (with several sessions to choose from) in which the entire organization was meant to learn everything they needed to know. Our project manager (who was made trainer in this situation) is excellent, but the instruction was lacking the nuances required
