A study was conducted to see if taking supplements such as vitamins and minerals influence the risk of developing prostate cancer. To find some answer, 34887 men were randomly assigned to take selenium, vitamin E, both selenium and vitamin E, or placebo, and then followed up to see whether they developed prostate cancer.
