There is an infinite number of factors that contribute to software project failures such as Inadequate requirements, unrealistic schedule, scope creep, unmanaged risks, poor communication among stakeholders, and lack of customer involvement, etc. Many statistics show that software project failures often cause huge losses in time and money.
