Asummaryshould state, the main information or argument of another writer/speaker. It should be concise(not a rehash, repeat, or play-by-play of the work). The short summary should demonstrate that youunderstand the main points of the work. Be sure to use in-text citations when using words, ideas, or concepts (including paraphrasing) written by others.

Additional Notes:

In a proper summary, the first paragraph typically includes an introduction to the work and the overall main idea. The paragraphs that follow include the remaining key ideas -- usually one per paragraph. The closing should include a short sum-up (wrap-up).

Also, a summary condenses a work to its main points and does so using your words [paraphrasing]. It should be objective and NOT include your dialogue or opinion.

Be sure to use in-text citations for this paper..... these citations will probably only include the source citation, but it is required.
