A teacher conducted an action research study in the classroom to determine how playing games affects learners' motivation to learn basic multiplication facts. Analyzing and interpreting scores on multiplication facts (quantitative data) was easy. Analyzing and interpreting data from observations and student interviews was more challenging. The most useful strategy for summarizing or analyzing the collected observation and interview data.
