A team that I am currently a part of would have to be my current work team. At my job, everyone has a job position. There are hosts (which is what I am), servers, drink runners, food runners, bussers, chefs, line cooks, etc. Each job position is a team. My team is with the host. So many factors go into making the team successful and dysfunctional, and that all comes down to the managers and how they choose to lead the team. A factor in us being dysfunctional would be if the owner gets upset with something my manager did, and then my manager decides to take his anger out on the rest of the hosts. That leads to a dysfunctional team because everyone's mode of living has changed for the whole night. If the leader does not have faith, confidence, or motivation, the team will follow that destructive energy. Meanwhile, some factors contribute to the team's success, just from the excellent training each member has experienced. There is not anything that each host does not know how to do, and every host has a great work ethic. There are no incentives or anything of the sort at my job
