A time sensitive issue would be when a supervisor supervises a busy social worker with superior and junior-level staff with demanding activities, finding the proper time for critical conversations may be challenging (O'Neill & del Mar Faria, 2018). It might lead to an overcrowded schedule with communicating workers in a hurry to discuss and tackle the factual matters that might not be dealt with appropriately, thus lowering the ability of supervision to enhance workers' careers. Potential for Power Imbalance The CC model may have another disadvantage in power differences, and hierarchies in power can influence the supervision process. In trying to develop an environment suitable for dialogue, the supervisor/ supervisee hierarchy structure can inhibit supervisees from letting down completely and feeling deeply (O'Neill & del Mar Faria, 2018).
