I believe that a total rewards strategy can also be a big factor in regard to return on investment. When employees are motivated to do their best work in hopes of reward, the company works smoother and makes more money for the company. It is always best to ensure that employees are happy in their work environment, it ensures that they stay with the company which in turn helps the company retain the talent that they have invested so much time in cultivating.
