A truck overturns on one of our major highways and the engine catches on fire, engulfing the cab, where the driver is trapped. A highway patrol officer arrives on the scene and realizes that no one can get near enough to the cab to get the driver out. The driver sees the patrolman and begs the officer to shoot him so that he won't have to suffer the horror of burning to death. The officer is close enough to kill him instantly.
