A t-test for independent samples was performed to determine whether students who do not have jobs scored higher on quizzes than students who have jobs. Twenty-two students without jobs and eighteen students with jobs participated in the study. The results showed that students without jobs (M = 81.90, SD = 13.59) performed than students with jobs (M = 78.39, SD = 17.14), t(38) = 1.55, p = .065. The magnitude of two sample mean difference was (d = 3.80)
