A two-way ANOVA was conducted that examined the effect of frequency of cannabis use and method of cannabis use on profile rating. The main effect of frequency of cannabis use was not significant, F (1, 28) = 1.493, p = .232. Low frequency cannabis use (M= 7.87 ; SD= 1.68) was not rated significantly different than high frequency cannabis use (M= 8.29 ; SD= 2.42). Although not statistically significant, high frequency cannabis uses received higher ratings. The main effect of the method of cannabis use was significant, F (1, 28) = 6.219, p = .019. Smoking cannabis consumers (M= 9.08; SD = 1.85) were rated significantly higher than edible cannabis consumers (M= 7.42 ; SD= 2.01). The interaction between frequency of cannabis use and method of cannabis use was not significant, F (1, 28)= 3.016, p = .093. The effect of frequency of cannabis use on profile rating did not depend on the method of cannabis use. Although not significant, the high frequency smoking cannabis consumer had the highest mean (M= 10.17 ; SD= .98) followed by low frequency smoking cannabis consumer (M= 8.14; SD= 1.95), low frequency edible cannabis consumer (M= 7.63; SD= 1.51), and high frequency edible cannabis consumer (M= 7.27 ; SD= 2.37)
