A woman living in Florida named Evonne lost custody of four children. The first child she has no contact with and remains in Ohio where all of Evonne's relatives live. The second and third child are living with their father in Florida. Evonne has supervised visits with her second and third child once every month for a couple of hours during the day. Evonne lost custody of her second and third child because she got two DUI's a month apart while the children were in the vehicle with her in May of 2019.

Then, in June of 2021 she gave birth to her fourth child, Cassidy Jr., with a new boyfriend, Cassidy, but DCF took the baby before she left the hospital because she never finished her case that was opened in May of 2019 from losing custody of the second and third child due to child neglect.

Then, Cassidy's mother, Andrea took temporary custody of Cassidy Jr. to get the baby out of foster care. Evonne and Cassidy never contributed to help support Cassidy Jr. and only saw the baby 2 or 3 times within a six month span.

In February of 2022 she sent Cassidy to jail for domestic violence and got pregnant again, but this time it was from a "random guy" while her boyfriend was in jail. Evonne is due in December of 2022.

The charges against Cassidy were disputed and he was released from jail and moved back in with Evonne. After being constantly threatened of being sent to jail again by her and wanting to be closer to his baby, Cassidy moved back to his hometown, in another part of Florida, six hours away from Evonne.

Now that Cassidy is living in the same town as his baby for the last six months, he is able to bond with Cassidy Jr. and help support his baby, he has held onto the same job since he moved back to his hometown. Cassidy has moved on from Evonne and has started a new relationship, but Evonne does not approve and wants to "get even".

Evonne told DCF that she wants to give the baby she is pregnant with now up for adoption, but she still wants to get primary custody of Cassidy Jr., DCF claims that their hands are tied because they are legally inclined to help the mother with her wishes as long as she finishes her case. Her case has been opened for over 3 years!

While Cassidy is waiting on a court date to get custody of Cassidy Jr., Evonne has been harassing Andrea with threats of going after her. Evonne has also contacted Cassidy's sister in law with vile texts threatening to call DCF and called her children, who are 3 and 7, awful names.

What would be the best action for Cassidy to get fulltime custody of Cassidy Jr.?

What can Andrea do to stop the constant threats from Evonne?

What should the sister in law do?
